![]() The summoning skill goes a long way also, adding an additional character to your team so it is basically a 5 man party is very nice. The last game was different because you could just cc lock down the entire enemy team with 2 mages alone, this game is more dps heavy, dps wins, not cc. Focusing on damage rather than defense is important too, again because of the armour system. Use thieving to steal books from the starting merchants, get the restoration ring and teleport gloves before fighting anything level 4, and your team should just start snowballing from then. It just comes down to out-leveling your enemies by gaining as much non combat xp as possible, once you are 1-2 levels above, it really shouldn't be a problem. Went in blind and the game was extremely hard and eventually gave up and made a lone wolf character. ![]() If you insist on a 4 man party on tactician it's doable, my initial character was that. Fane with duel wield daggers is strong enough to carry the entire game alone, and by carry I mean it is a complete joke, nothing is a challenge when you 2 hit enemies a level above you. ![]() So if you are struggling on tactician, try out a 2 man lone wolf setup. So simply put, lone wolf is a lot easier than a 4 man team. This means 1 lone wolf has the same damage as a full team of 4 characters built for maximum damage, which isnt always true as you would have 1 tank and 1 support, so 1 lone wolf ends up having a higher dps output than a team of 4.Īnd higher dps means you can get down armor faster, meaning enemies can be chain cc'd or simply just killed outright faster. So you end up with almost 4 times the damage. Lone wolf ends up being a x2.6 damage multiplier to your damage output plus you get an additional 2 ap for another x1.5 damage multiplier ontop of that compared to a non lone wolf. Like I mean so so so much easier its stupid. Because of this and how the lone wolf perk works, a 2 man lone wolf party (1 man with fane using duel wield daggers) on tactician difficulty, is SIGNIFCANTLY easier than 4 man on classic. It favours maximum possible dps to get that armor away so you can CC chain or just kill. The magic armor and physical armor mechanic doesn't favour 4 man parties at all. Tactician, or even the classic difficulty, can be extremely brutal for a 4 man party.
